Specially by valandia that counters most of their AI armies. In my game Battania is exausted from the last war. Most lords are bankrupt and scrambling to rebuild their armies. We also lost about four castles.So to preface, I've been starting off my campaigns in the nation of origin for the characters. My goal is to keep totally purist armies, I don't want to mix faction units. That being said, Battanians have so much appeal but its like they just put them in the game to get steamrolled. I feel like they're so thematic (maybe the most so), but their learning curve is a hard one to navigate.Battania Strength: Powerful foot archers and high skill levels with those bows. In melee combat their body odor can disable most foes in seconds. Cavalry is pretty easy to level-up into. Weakness: Bear fur protects against cold far better than arrows or blades.
